God Bless the USA

This recession has threatened the resolve of many average Americans.

This is the third recession that I have lived through. Never before have I seen so many people that I know lose their houses, cars and take jobs that they are way over qualified for just to stay alive.

The outlook for things to get better if you are one of the 1.5 million Americans who have lost their houses is not good. The economy is not creating good jobs for middle Americans.

Many small business owners and middle management workers are now working in grocery stores or other minimum paying jobs and depending on family for support.

Is there a silver lining behind this cloud?

Here it is!

We live in the USA. We are free to make choices. Free to start again!
Free to explore different opportunities. Free to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps!

We have been blessed. Although it isn’t the only free country, If we live here, it is for
a reason.

I am so grateful for those who died to give me these choices. I will join with all Americans in
humble pride and say that I love the USA.

No one can take away our freedoms. Who we are deep inside us is what will turn this
around, and who we are is a heck of a lot!

We will be prosperous again because it is who we are!
